Plan for Re-Gathering

Read Pastor Tim’s Re-Gathering Statement.

We have been looking forward to the day when we can re-gather and it is finally here!  Although excited, we are taking many precautionary steps for the safety of all who choose to worship in person with us.  Please read the following and be prepared to assist us.  NOTE:  If you have any flu like symptoms or fever, do not come to church.

Here’s What We Are Doing:

Services

9:00 – 10:00 AM – Family Service

  • Families with nursery, children’s church, and tweens, 0-12 years old
  • Parents will be responsible for their children.  Families will be together in sanctuary
  • Worship:  Pastor Lauren
  • Message:  Danielle Huss
  • Live streamed on YouTube and Facebook

11:00 AM – 12:30 PM – Regular Service

  • Youth and adult age only – no families with children
  • Worship:  AHC Worship Team
  • Message:  Pastor Tim
  • Live streamed on YouTube and Facebook
  • AHC traditional greeting will NOT happen
  • Tithes and offerings will be placed in receptacles upon exiting each service

Seating

  • Ushers will assist in seating to maintain established distancing.
  • Families can and should sit together, but there must be at least two seats between you and the next family or individual sitting on your particular row.
  • All seating will be on a first come, first serve basis.
  • Upon reaching restricted seating capacity, the Meet-n-Greet will be used as overflow.

General Details

  • Even though we will have hand sanitizer on campus, we encourage you to bring some as well.
  • We encourage everyone to wash or sanitize hands upon entering and after any interaction with others.
  • You are welcome to wear face masks and gloves if you desire.
  • If you need personal ministry or prayer through the laying on of hands, see an Elder or Pastor.

Greeters

  • Greeters will not greet with handshakes, fist bump, hugs or any other form of physical contact.

Meet-n-Greet

  • Although not always possible, we ask everyone do be mindful of the current six feet social distancing recommendation.
  • We ask that consideration is given to the amount of time spent fellowshipping before and after service as we are trying to avoid overcrowding areas and must sanitize between services.

Housekeeping

  • We are prepared to clean before, between and after all services.
  • We will wipe down all arm rests, tables, chairs, door knobs/handles/doors, equipment, etc.
  • Pens will be removed from seat backs.
  • Coffee will not be available at this time.

If you have any concerns or health issues, we strongly recommend you remain at home and watch our online services (please note the service times have changed). While these safety measures will be in place, they remain as guidelines that each individual is responsible to personally honor. Do not expect church staff to enforce these guidelines. Finally, to ensure we are doing everything we possibly can to keep our church family safe and comfortable, we will be encouraging families to sit together. Remember, there will be no nursery, children’s, or tween ministries other than the combined family service for the foreseeable future.
