Matthew Zang, Senior Pastor
Pastor Matt was born and raised in Perry County. He attended World Harvest Bible College: The School of The Spirit, in Columbus, Ohio and is an ordained minister with the World Harvest Church Ministerial Fellowship. He has more than ten years full time pastoral experience, and two years part time. He also serves with Market Place Chaplain, serving employees as their chaplain. His call is to preach and teach the message of Jesus Christ. One of his many goals is to help grow and mature individuals so that they are able to do the work of the ministry. During his leisure time, he enjoys archery, hunting, fishing, and the outdoors.
In March of 2006, Pastor Matt married Bethany Cilento. Bethany has been involved with ministry most of her life. Her father was a pastor of a Wesleyan Church, and she learned to serve within the Church early in her life. She graduated from Lancaster Bible College in 2000 with a Bible Certificate. Bethany works with the nursery at Abundant Harvest Church, as well as with the youth. In her leisure time, she loves to scrapbook, read, and shoot in the archery league with Pastor Matt.
Together, Pastor Matt and Bethany serve Abundant Harvest Church. It is their prayer to see the Abundant Harvest Church grow as a significant force for God within our local community. Additionally, it is their desire to see this church reach out to as many souls as possible, so that all may come to know and serve the Lord.
Kenneth E. Hoy, Jr., Administrative Pastor
Pastor Ken's primary job is to advise Pastor Matt on areas of ministry, finance, and administration. His passion and calling is worship and creative arts. He has been involved in music in the church, singing in the choir since the age of 12. While serving in the Army in Landstuhl, Germany, God opened up opportunities for me to hone my worship leading skills starting in the Serviceman's Center. He has been leading worship on the piano in both full-time and part-time ministry for several churches for the last 17 years. He has served as worship leader at AHC for the last seven years. Jane, Ken's wife of 25 years, and their grown children Michael and Krista all serve on the worship team. Ken and Jane also enjoy their two grandchildren.
