About Us

In June of 1999, Abundant Harvest Church was conceived from a small Bible study meeting in the home of a present parishioner.  After two months of Bible studies, it was apparent that God had more in store for them.  With the help of twelve founding people, Abundant Harvest Church began renting a store front building in Duncannon. Most of those twelve are still worshiping with us. There have been many hurdles, but our faith and God’s grace has sustained us.  Our fruit is evidence of our love for God and fellow man.

Core Values

The core values are fundamental criteria upon which programs and ministries within this church will use to operate and conduct the business of and for the church.

We will walk in and demonstrate Christian love for one another. We value relationships and willingly will not allow another to compromise or sacrifice a personal relationship with God, with family, with friends, or with neighbors. We value integrity and are committed with undivided loyalty to a strict moral and ethical code that is rooted in the Holy Bible. We value commitment and recognize that it is a promise to follow a certain course of action. Our first commitment is to God. Secondly, we are committed to our families. Our third commitment is to the Body of Christ. Lastly, we value sharing Jesus with everyone we minister to.

“I’m Part of the Fellowship Committed To Doing Whatever It Takes”

Author:  Unknown

I’m part of the fellowship committed to doing whatever it takes.  I have Holy Spirit power.  The die has already been cast.  I have stepped over the line.  I am out of the comfort zone.  The decision has been made.  I am a disciple of Christ.  I won’t look back, let up, slow down or back away.  My past is redeemed, my present makes sense and my future is secure.  I am finished and done with low living, sight walking, small planning, smooth knees, colorless dreams, tame visions, mundane talking, chintzy giving and dwarfed goals.  I’m part of the fellowship committed to doing whatever it takes.
I no longer need preeminence.  I no longer need position.  I no longer need promotions.  I no longer need popularity.  I don’t have to be right.  I don’t have to be first.  I don’t have to be tops.  I don’t have to be recognized, or praised, or regarded or rewarded.  I’m part of the fellowship committed to doing whatever it takes.
I now live by presence, I lean by faith, I love by patience, I lift by prayer and I labor by power.  I’m a part of the fellowship committed to doing whatever it takes.
My face is set.  My gait is fast. My goal is heaven.  My road is narrow.  My way is rough.  My companions are few, but my guide is reliable and my mission is clear.  I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured or lured away.  I cannot be turned back or diluted.  I will not be delayed.  I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, or hesitate in the presence of adversity, or negotiate at the table of my enemy, or ponder at the pool of popularity or meander in the maze called mediocrity.  I won’t give up, shut up, let up or burn up until I have preached up, prayed up, paid up, stored up and stayed up for the cause of Christ.  I’m a part of the fellowship committed to doing whatever it takes.
I’m a disciple of Jesus Christ.  I must go until He comes.  I must give until I drop, preach until all know and work until He stops.  And when He comes to get His own, He will have no problem recognizing me because I have dedicated my life to be a part of the fellowship committed to doing whatever it takes.
