Food Distribution

On the second Saturday of every month we offer a food distribution. We hand out boxes of food and bread for families. There is an abundant supply of bread, pastries, rolls, and much more.  Our monthly boxes contain non perishables ranging from spaghetti to cereal, from body lotion to toothbrushes and toothpaste.  Boxes will vary each month.  Along with the boxes of food and bread, there will be coupons for the frozen food distribution that Newport Assembly of God offers, back to school supplies, Christmas gifts, and occasional special products will be offered. We also have Bethesda Bags which are offered to families with 3 or more in their household, or for those who are 65 or older.  These bags will sometimes contain produce and other non perishable foods. We are teamed up with the following ministries: Healing House in Newport supplies the bread, Bread of Life Outreach in Newport supplies the food boxes, and Bethesda Mission supplies the Bethesda Bags. Everyone is qualified to receive the food.  Many hard working middle class families can enjoy the benefits of this program.  There is an application and verification process that everyone must go through.  For more information please contact the Church at 717-834-5444.
